Stunts for brands

Daft ideas. Built for real.

I invent, build and film real-world stunts for brands. The sort people stop, film and talk about.

Merry Quitmas, with East 17

Riot can't advertise the way most brands can, so we gave them a Christmas song instead, and asked East 17 to sing it. I wrote the song, produced the track and made the video.

In the papers

And on the telly. Every one opens the real piece, or the stunt behind it.

Here's the deal

What you get

One daft idea, built for real, in a real place, with your brand as the reason it exists.

One we made for MAC.An entire shop of selfie rooms, built for a make-up brand.

The idea

Two to pick from, each with a headline a picture desk would run.

Will driving the motorised bathtub he built down a residential street.

The build

I make it, properly and safely, in a real place.

Will with a Rishi Sunak lookalike outside Rishi's Vape Shop on opening day.

The stunt day

We invite journalists and photographers.

Will filming a man in a white shirt on a city street with a small camera.

The film

A 2 to 3 minute hero film, 5 short edits and photos, yours to use for 12 months.

How it works

  1. Tell me about your brand and what's coming up. Two minutes.

  2. I come back with two ideas.

  3. We pick one on a 15-minute call, and I cost it line by line, with a date.

  4. I build it, we run the stunt day, and you get the film.

PR agencies

I invent, build and film. You keep the client and run the press.

An entire shop, built for MAC

MAC wanted people to come and play with a new collection, so my Selfie Factory team built them six themed rooms at The O2. This is the case study film.

Pleased to meet you

Hello, I'm Will

In 2014 I'd applied for more than 100 advertising jobs and got nowhere. So I made my next application as David Brent. Ricky Gervais shared it, the papers picked it up, and I got the job.

Since then I've built things people queue for. Selfie Factory grew to four sites, including The O2. My agency, TikScript, makes TikToks for brands like Tango Ice Blast and NIVEA MEN. And these days I build daft things for my own YouTube channel, then see who notices.

I work straight with brands, and alongside PR agencies when they run the press.
